I've been wondering lately about the quality of health care and the treatment of our veterans returning home from active duty. Not all of the long-term injuries are initially apparent, i.e. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, toxic overload and other physical and emotional issues that may plague these courageous men and women for some time. What types of health issues need to be assessed and followed-up on for several years? Are there going to be disability allowances for issues that surface over time? Just thought I'd open up a subject and see others ideas and views on this matter.
